POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Billing And Collections I Position Reports To The Town Administrator.
Statement Of Duties And Responsibilities:
• Opens And Closes The Office.
• Collects Payment For Town Services.
• Phone Calls To Remind Customers Of Account Balances.
• Daily Closing And Balance Of Payments And Receipts For Deposit For Web Payments, Credit Card Payments, Checks, And Cash.
• Assist With Financial Aid For Residence.
• Keeps Record Of Payments For Arrangements.
• Opens And Closes Accounts, Which Includes Logging Work Orders Into Facility Dude.
• Updates Account Records When Needed.
• Answer Phone Calls And Takes Messages.
• Responds To Citizen’s Concerns And Complaints.
• Assist Finance Officer With Filing, Matching Invoices To Statements, And Matching Credit Card And Gas Receipts To Invoices.
• Updates Collection Batches Daily And Run Necessary Reports.
• Manage Customer Abatements, To Include, Prepares Letters And Updating Journal Of Accounts.
• Order Office Supplies.
• Manage Newspaper Articles Relevant To The Town.
• Assist Town Clerk With Cemetery Responsibilities.
• Fax And Copy Documents For Customers.
• Collects And Receives Daily Mail From Post Office And Drop Box.
• Performs Other Related Duties As Assigned By The Town Administrator
This Postion Is On A Part-time Basis.
